Design work for a Corinthian commission

Process

A clear route from first conversation to final fitting, with the same practice responsible at every stage.

  1. Listen

At home, online or around the workshop table, we establish how the space needs to work, what should change and the atmosphere you want to create. Where useful, we visit and survey before the first design work begins.

  2. Draw

Plans, elevations, samples and clear costs allow proportion, function, construction and finish to be resolved together. Nothing moves to the bench until the commission is understood.

  3. Make

Cabinetmaking and finishing take place at The Well Barn. Because drawing and making remain close, details can be judged against the whole room rather than treated as separate packages.

  4. Fit

The people who know the work deliver, install and adjust it. Aftercare remains with the workshop as timber settles and the room begins its life.
