Assess
Understand construction, condition and the minimum useful intervention.

Conservation and restoration of fine furniture, guided by the original maker and the life the piece still has ahead of it.
Each treatment begins with assessment. Structure is repaired, surfaces conserved and function restored without erasing the age that gives a piece its character.
Neil O’Brien is a member of BAFRA. The workshop undertakes cabinet repairs, veneer work, colour matching, traditional finishing and sensitive adaptation for contemporary use.
